We’ve changed our tune a bit since last week when we chanted rain, rain, go away. Instead we’re fully kitted out for the wet weather and ready to greet it head on. Well, our kids are anyhow. And we’ve got something that’ll take you back in time – the K-Way. Remember the waterproof jackets from the ’70s that folded up into a little pouch you could wear like a fanny pack – though they call it a hip bag – around your waist? Well they’ve been resurrected – and in kids sizes.
Think about it, what could be better for our Vancouver weather? A waterproof, windbreaker that you can toss into your bag, or around your child’s waist, to have at the ready to face the vagaries of the fall weather. A sudden shower? While the K-Way may not stand up to a full-on deluge, they will help you fight everyday grey, showery days, especially if you pick one up in a bright colour like magenta or retro red.
