Your baby that is! Ever wondered what goes on in their tiny little minds as they grow and develop from newborn babes to walking, talking, going concerns? Well wonder no more, the founders of recently launched Just Ask Baby have made it possible for you to get the full scoop on what’s going on inside your baby’s brain from the experts – babies themselves – and it’s pretty darn fascinating.

Not another baby site you say? Well you’ve never seen anything like this. The team behind Just Ask Baby has taken the established science – provided by Dr. David Elkind, their Chief Scientific Advisor, scientist and author of The Hurried Child and The Power of Play: Learning What Come Naturally – behind babies’ social, emotional and intellectual development during their first year of life and translated it into a series of TV episodes filmed from a baby’s perspective about what they feel, think, do, say and see from birth to twelve months.

So if you’ve ever wondered if you’re spoiling your baby, why they’re crying, what toys are best for them at different developmental stages or just why they do all those mysterious things they do, you’ll find answers in Just Ask Baby’s videos. Their cool Stepping Stone functionality allows you to track, share and comment on your child’s development including everything from attachment to concept formation. You can also use the site as baby-central by uploading and sharing your baby pix, inviting friends, blogging and lots more.

There are a couple of unexpected things about Just Ask Baby. Founders Mark and Michelle Hamilton aren’t actually parents – instead they’re aunt and uncle to a three nieces and a nephew and watching their siblings enter parenthood was part of what sparked the idea for Just Ask Baby. Finally, the whole site is completely ad-free, instead it works on a subscription model, which means you can trust that the info they provide is uninfluenced by advertisers and sponsors. Intriguing! But you can try before you buy courtesy of their free trial option, careful though, you may get hooked. . .
