When we shared our latest real-world find with you a few weeks ago, we promised we had more in the works, and Pebble is our big reveal.

Located on Arbutus Street right next to the Gramercy Grill, Pebble focuses on well-designed baby and toddler products that are made locally and/or organic. Inspired both by the products she couldn’t find for her son, and wanting to be able to spend more time with him than her pre-mat leave job allowed, Pebble is the creation of local mama-of-one Jordan Proulx.

Stocked with many of our favourite lines including Cici Art Factory, Lola & Lucas, Pippalily, Bamboobino and Bug & Pickle, Pebble also carries some lines that we’re sure will become favourites including Océna – and if you’re going on a road trip you have to check out their amazing kids’ sleeping bags – and beautiful, organic cotton crib bedding from Q Collection Junior in patterns that are cute without being overly so.

Rather than a place for mamas to stock up on all the essentials, Pebble has more of a one-of-a-kind-find, gift-giving feel, plus lots of room for strollers. So if you need something special you’ll want to stop in this Saturday during their grand opening from 10 am – 6 pm. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see the balloons, treats and great baby stuff.

I visited Lavish & Lime for the first time and found all sorts of neat things there. Though I really liked the Natural Insect Repellent. After getting eaten alive by mosquitos while camping last summer I’m on the hunt for a good natural repellent.
