It’s back and better than ever. After a seemingly interminable hiatus, Portobello West bursts back onto the scene with a two day season-opener this weekend – March 29th and 30th. Your favourite local artists and designers will be there with their new Spring lines and products, plus you’ll find treasures from new designers as well.
There’ll be fashion for the whole family, including styles for sustainable mamas from Elroy Apparel, funky mamas from Adhesif, and sophisticated mamas from Lina Cutnam. Your sustainable tots will want to check out Mally Bibs, funky tots will be all over Milkshaxs Baby Gear, while sophisticated tots will want to peruse Spring styles from Redfish Kids Clothes and Kiki Kid’s Wear. Dads can get stylin’ in duds from Outfit Apparel, Flaming Angels, and Identity Apparel.
And we haven’t even talked handbags yet, let alone art and jewelry.
Usually Portobello West happens on the last Sunday of the month, but because of pent up demand, this weekend you’ll find two whole days of local shopping. You’ll be able to keep your blood sugar shopping-ready with treats and coffee, plus there’s loads of free parking and free shuttle from the Main Street Skytrain Station.
