We love the Easter Bunny and we love good quality chocolate (in moderation), but with Easter treats coming from aunts, uncles, and grandparents, we’re thinking the Easter Bunny may opt out of leaving candy this year. Instead,thanks to Keri from Craft Caravan, we’ve got some fun ideas for helping our kids get more crafty, instead of more candy!

Now that spring appears to have well and truly sprung, the beach is getting busy again. The kids don’t even seem to care that it can still be a little nippy by the water, especially when it’s breezy, instead they’re barefoot and in the water before you can say, “At least roll up your pant legs.” We’re partial to Jericho for our beach visits, in large part because the Galley Patio & Grill on the second floor of the Jericho Sailing Centre.

This year the festival will be taking over Vanier Park from the 12th to 19th of May but tickets are going on sale on March 8th (that’s this Saturday) at Ticketmaster and they go fast, so consider this your head’s up!
