13th Annual REALTORS® Care Blanket Drive
November 26th – December, 3rd, 9 am – 5 pm, 150 Real Estate Offices across the Lower Mainland
It’s awfully frosty outside these days, so the REALTORS® care Blanket Drive has come just in time. Donate clean sleeping bags, blankets, tarps and warm clothing and bedding. It will be distributed to over 30 local charities.

Get your fill of Gingerbread this weekend:

Mollie Nye House Bright Christmas
Saturday, December 1st, 7 pm – 9 pm, Mollie Nye House, 940 Lynn Valley Rd, North Vancouver
The Mollie Nye House will be transformed into a delicious gingerbread house when the lights shine on December 1st. There’s also live jazz, a gingerbread parade and hot chocolate and treats.

Hyatt Gingerbread Lane 2007
November 27 – December 26th, 9 am – 9 pm, Hyatt Regency Vancouver, 655 Burrard Street
Take a break from shopping and stop in to view this amazing winter wonderland with Vancouver’s Largest Gingerbread House (11 ft tall x 16 feet wide) and 24 other individually crafted gingerbread creations. On December 2nd, 9th & 16th from 2 – 5 pm there’ll be gingerbread cookie decorating fundraisers. Proceeds will go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of BC and Yukon.

Santa Parade & Arrival at Kids Market on Granville Island
Saturday, December 1st, 11 am, Kids Market on Granville Island
Once he gets there he’ll be sticking around for a bit as well.

Santa’s at Coal Harbour
Sunday, December 2nd, 10 am – 12 pm
Help Santa fill his sleigh with loot for the Foodbank and enjoy games and crafts.

Santa & His Elves in Kerrisdale
Saturday, December 1st, Noon – 4 pm
It’s the first weekend Santa will be spreading holiday cheer throughout Kerrisdale, popping in and out of the shops and handing out chocolate. There’s lots more happening in Kerrisdale this weekend as well including decorating, horse and carriage rides and more.

Douglas Park Children’s Toy & Clothing Market
Sunday, December 2nd, 10 am – 1 pm, Douglas Park Community Centre, 801 West 22nd Ave.
Great gear and great toys at great prices. This one is bound to be packed and full of goodies.
