Thrifty Foods wants you to smash your pumpkins rather than trash them. This weekend they’re giving you the opportunity to bring in your pumpkins for composting.

If you live in False Creek North here’s your chance to share about your community. There will be refreshments and door prizes, as well as face painting and games. There’s also an afternoon of facilitated group discussions about issues that matter to False Creek residents. Kids might not find the discussions too engaging though.
