We know you’re good at multi-tasking so we’re always on the hunt for products that are as multi-faceted as you are, which is why we want to spread the word about Lee Valley’s World’s Greatest Nail Brushes.

We bought them for their intended purpose and they really are great – especially with all the hand washing mums do – but one day in a pinch we used one to wash vegetables and we were converts! At about 75¢ a pop, why not invest in a dozen, stock all your sinks and share them with friends?

And since scrubbing your veggies and fruit with soap and a vegetable brush is the best way to guard against bacteria and pesticides these nifty little nylon brushes are practically a necessity. If summer’s upcoming bounty of local produce has you worried about pesticides on your greens use the Environmental Working Group’s list of the most and least contaminated produce as a guideline for when to splurge on organic.
